University of Southern Somalia Crisis Response Solution
Somalia is experiencing the worst famine in more than 60 years. More than one million people, mostly women and children, are suffering from acute malnutrition, and nearly 12 million people are faced with the choice between a full blown famine or to walk 200 miles and end up in a refugee camp with no better life, and in the process face a lot of hardship and even death. It is also clear that unless an immediate and a direct action is taken, this tragedy will decimate the entire population of the southwestern regions of Somalia.
In the face of this tragedy, the Board of the University of Southern Somalia has decided to divert all the University resources since it’s in the epicenter of the famine in Somalia to alleviate this dire situation and hopefully avert this tragedy from turning into a full human catastrophe.
The University of Southern Somalia cannot, however, do carry this mission without YOU, friends and humanity in general. Please Help Us Help Those Directly Affected By the Famine in Somalia. Please Donate NOW!
